About
Governance
The GGKP was founded in 2012 by the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI), Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and World Bank. In 2018, the GGKP welcomed the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) in joining the four founding organizations of the GGKP Steering Committee – the partnership’s governing and decision-making body.
Operations are carried out by the GGKP Secretariat, jointly hosted by GGGI in Seoul, Republic of Korea, and UNEP in Geneva, Switzerland. Both organizations provide dedicated personnel to support the initiative. Each of the partnership’s founding organizations provide in-kind support through the designation of a GGKP coordinator, charged with supporting the implementation of GGKP activities. Coordinators ensure close and constant communication between the GGKP Secretariat and its founding organizations.
Annual Reports
The GGKP is committed to tracking, measuring and analysing its efforts. Results are compiled annually and reported on through the GGKP's Biennial Reports and Impact Reports. The Biennial Report provides a comprehensive review of the GGKP's main activities and accomplishments and is published every two years. The Impact Report is a shorter version of the Biennial Report, published in alternating years, which focuses on the measurement and analysis of the GGKP's main indicators of success.
The GGKP's Impact Report 2022, outlines how the partnership has performed over the course of 2022 across GGKP's three work areas - generating knowledge, managing knowledge and sharing knowledge. The highlights include the Sustainable Finance Diagnostic Toolkit, I-GO Assistant workshops, regional work on mainstreaming natural capital and broadening international reach. Read more.
The GGKP's Biennial Report covers the accomplishments of the partnership from 2020-2021.
