Green Growth Knowledge Partnership (GGKP)

Jovita coordinates knowledge management at the Green Growth Knowledge Partnership, manages knowledge for the 'Implementing Sustainable Low and Non-Chemical Development in Small Island Developing States' (ISLANDS) Programme. She leads the development of new knowledge partnerships with various international stakeholders’ initiatives and facilitates knowledge sharing via GGKP.

With more than 15 years of experience managing and consulting on international and country-level strategic projects, Jovita has engaged with private and non-government stakeholders to prepare and implement business and sustainability strategies, coordinate knowledge sharing, and facilitate stakeholder engagement. Before joining GGKP, she worked for the World Bank Group in Washington, DC, supporting major campaigns and advocacy initiatives on sustainable financial inclusion and private sector development. This included the development of a Very Small Enterprises (VSE) advisory strategy and financial institutions assessment and support for projects in Asia and Africa focused on growth and productivity, microfinance, clean water, and environmental sustainability.

She co-founded the Our Global Communities Initiative and worked on climate change, social inclusion, and cultural diversity projects in Nicaragua and Uganda. In 2020, Jovita founded 'Impactful,' a consulting company advising Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in the Baltic States on preparing sustainability strategies and ensuring their alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Before moving to the United States, she worked as the Head of the SMEs Segment in a Scandinavian commercial bank – Nordea. Jovita actively contributes to sustainable development advancement in Baltic countries, speaking at various conferences. She recently designed the first ever Sustainable Development course for the MBA class at Vilnius University and lectured for past 2 years.

Jovita holds a Master of Communications, Bachelor of Economics, and a Bachelor of Business Communications from Vilnius University, Lithuania. She is a Fulbright Alumna of the Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Programme, where she focused on the fields of International Development and Sustainability.
