Dereje Senshaw is a Deputy Director at Climate Action and Inclusive Development (CAID) unit with the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI). He is providing overall management of the unit and overseeing GGGI’s global programs, leading the organization’s knowledge management publications and thought leadership functions and engages in convening stakeholders across several collaboration platforms. He is responsible for program development, resource mobilization as well as donor relations related programs. He is also responsible for policy dialogue with senior government and sector stakeholders across countries, development of transition roadmaps, strategic programs, and origination of new projects and programs across renewables, energy efficiency, energy storage, green hydrogen, and coal power phaseout.
